Together, children and unaccompanied youth (age 24 and younger) make up nearly half of those experiencing homelessness in Minnesota, and the percentage of our population experiencing homelessness has risen rather dramatically since 2018.*
Partnering with Paladin Career and Technical School, located in Blaine, MN, MidCountry Bank has a unique opportunity to help a community of MN teens stay focused on obtaining high school diplomas, despite experiencing homelessness and other challenges in their lives. Paladin students are both male and female, non-traditional students from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
Join our bank as we collect outerwear for Paladin students to keep them warm and healthy through the coming winter months.
- Suggested Items: winter coats, hats, mittens/gloves, scarves, socks, boots, blankets or sleeping bags, tents – anything to keep them warm on a cold winter’s night! Items can be new or gently used.
- Sizes: Men’s and Women’s adult sizes, with greatest demand for medium, large and XL, including men’s Tall. Men’s coats are most needed.
- Collection Period: Now through November 20 at all MidCountry Bank branch locations.
THANK YOU for spreading warmth to Paladin’s students. They will appreciate any and all donations – you can bank on that!
