Immersing herself in a community that she loves and providing local business owners the support that can keep them growing is what gets Melissa Soupir excited to come to work each day. As the newly appointed Market President in Waconia, she has a lot to offer, both inside the bank and out.
Melissa has built her career as both a doer and a coach, developing specialized skills that enable her to adapt to a variety of commercial banking needs from equipment financing to lending solutions that are best suited to get the job done for her client. It is her genuine interest to learn all aspects of her client’s business that helps Melissa succeed with them. “I want to truly understand my client’s vision and earn their trust as a financial partner, working with them as they achieve their business goals,” Melissa shared.
Relationships are built over time, and Melissa’s years in banking have taught her the value of leveraging the broader MidCountry team to deliver the full banking experience that sets the Bank apart. A seasoned team in Waconia provides everyday banking support, coupled with experienced cash management and insurance teams, to build a solid base to manage a growing business.
As a person who actively engages, Melissa will be focused on connecting with local leaders. She looks forward to seeing some familiar faces in the community and finding ways to contribute meaningful service to our area.
Melissa grew up in a farming community in southwest Minnesota in a large family. That background instilled in her a strong work ethic and a love of the outdoors. As a mother of two sons, both moving quickly toward adulthood, she cherishes time spent with them and their family dog, Nyla, at their cabin in northern Wisconsin, where they enjoy hiking, biking and water activities.
Melissa is dedicated to MidCountry Bank’s ideals – providing knowledgeable bankers, fast decision making, and being easy to do business with. We are pleased to have Melissa on our team!
